LAP Respite Center has openings for Respite Care Providers to work with our clients who need assistance due to disabilities, chronic illness, or age-related conditions, and their families.

This is a job for people who are positive, like smiles, and feel that they can make a positive difference in the lives of others.  There are two different aspects to a job working at LAP Respite Center:

If you are working with children, you may become the teacher, the leader, always a role model, as you are working with the child on their specific goals of development.  You will have the opportunity to see children change, learn new skills, even how to talk or use sign language. If you like to play, you will love this job.

When working with adults you will receive many benefits from learning of the fantastic lives they have lived...the history of people and families.  There will also be the times of great appreciation from those with whom you are working for a job well done.

LAP Respite Center will be conducting our next 4 day training sessions on May 12, 13, 19, and 20, 2010 from 9am until 5pm each day.  LAP's training is a requirement for all employees
