It is our pleasure to invite you to attend our 2012 Fund Raising Event “LIKE A FINE WINE, LAP ONLY GETS BETTER WITH TIME” which will be held on Friday April 20, 2012, starting at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $75. Ticket prices, if tickets are purchased before April 1st, will be $60 for a single ticket or $100 for a couple. Look to the right, under the Event Navigation legend, to view the exciting items that will be available in our Silent Auction. More treasures are added daily. We will also have a 50/50 drawing and a special raffle. Food items (many specialties of the MSU Chefs) are listed and the names of the very special Michigan wines that have been selected to be paired with the food.
LAP Respite Center and the MSU Chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) have partnered as co-planners for this event. Our 3rd Annual, 2012, fund raising event will showcase wine and food pairings in the magnificent setting of the Michigan State University Stadium Towers overlooking the beautiful university campus. We will have three performing acts during the night:Aaron Perry, singer/guitarist, classical sets will be performed by the Bard Owls and the jazz sets will be performed by the Jon Ailabouni Western Jazz Quintet. Also during the event, guests will enjoy an exciting shopping trip at the silent auction and may have their picture taken at the top of the MSU's Spartan Stadium.
Food and Wine pairing will be presented by Professor Ron Perry, MSU Professor of Horticulture and Wine Educator along with the professionals of Kellogg Center, Spartan Signature Catering, and renowned MSU Chefs. Please join us to enjoy an exquisite presentation of tastes, sights, and sounds.
