LAP Respite Center would like to thank all of the race sponsors for their great support in making the 2008 LAP 5K and 8K Scenic Challenge Race a very special event. It was a great day and the weather cooperated! Everyone had a lot of fun.
Thanks to Ingham County Parks for allowing us to hold our race event in one of Lansing’s most beautiful parks. Thanks to Playmakers and Dean Transportation for all of their assistance. It was great fun having Sparty run with the kids. Go Green Glass provided Sparty. The Kids Run was sponsored by Safety First of Lansing. The children especially enjoyed the fire engine and the policeman and police dog from the city of Lansing. Boyd Landscaping sponsored the Mile Marker. The tee shirts were provided by Ingham Regional Medical Center. The delicious food was provided by Kroger, Wal-mart, Breadsmith, Melting Moments, Gordon Food Service, and the Sanchez family. The Lansing Board of Water and Light donated the water.
